Stop Kerala State Government's discrimination against independent CSC VLEs

The Issue

We have been hard working in rural villages, semi urban areas and Urban cities of Kerala to serve the benefits of Central Govt's Digital India project through DIGITAL SEVA PORTAL for almost a decade. But we have been always neglected by the Kerala State Govt . They are restricting us to give the services which Kerala Govt provides to  the locals. This makes us unauthorized centers in local peoples  eyes. Every time they are making law to restrict us from serving State CSC services.  So we are facing tremendous hurdles every day for our survival.

Lot of educated youths are endeavored as VLE in CSC Kerala. Even B Tech graduates are there as VLE to serve the people through CSC.

The reason we are raising this petition is a recent circular by Kerala State Govt IT Dept. It says they are reducing the accessibility of E district Portal certificate issuing number to 5 per month for an open portal user which was earlier 10 and implementing OTP also for each application. We were using open portal to help people applying for certificates. Also the circular says use of open portal in commercial manner is an illegal activity and will take legal action against such cases. This means we cant help people anymore to apply for important and crucial certificates through our CSC centres.

These unfortunate incidents are questioning the credibility of our CSC centers all over Kerala . So we demand the State and Central Govt to take necessary steps to allow CSC connect or Official Login in

1. Kerala State E district Portal

2. Kerala State Civil Supplies Department Portal

3. Kerala State E Grants portal

4. Kerala State LSGD and all other related portals

Sign our petition and ask CSC CEO Shri. Dinesh Tyagi, Hon'ble central IT Minister Shri. Ravi Shankar Prasad and Hon'ble IT Minister of Kerala Shri. Pinarai Vijayan to implement measures to save CSC centres in Kerala.
