Govt of TS unilaterally closed down 33,000 Schools by citing the spread of CORONA in certain Govt. residential Schools. We are not sure whether COVID halts before commencement of academic year 2021-22. TEST, TRACE and TREAT ’ is the best option to deal with it.

As per the RTE Act, Govt has to provide Free & Compulsory Quality Education to Every child till 14 years of age but only 45% students are are in Govt Schools.

About 75% students in Telangana are not able to access online classes. They can’t afford smart phones & data. Hence they are facing severe learning loss.
Private school teachers don’t have work, they are migrating to other professions for survival.

Our CHARTER OF DEMANDS

1. Reopen the schools following COVID SOP
2. Give education voucher of ₹20000/- to every child through DBT (For devises, internet & books )
3. Give ₹7,000/- per month to private school teachers during schools lockdown period as Gurudakshina
4. Evaluate students’ learning outcomes for the year 2020-21. Release academic calendar(2021-22) to bridge the learning loss.
