People, there is a serious problem that we should have nipped in the bud from time, but better late than never.
We, the people, are demanding the immediate removal of Cayman Islands Chief Justice Anthony Smellie!

According to Section 94(7)(a) of the Constitution, it states that “The Chief Justice shall have responsibility for and management of all matters arising in judicature, INCLUDING RESPONSIBILITY FOR REPRESENTING THE VIEWS OF the judiciary to the Government and THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY; including, where appropriate, through the Attorney General”.
As the top lawyer in this jurisdiction, the Chief Justice KNEW OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN that he did NOT have the ability to singlehandedly change the marriage definition in the Cayman Islands all by himself, especially knowing full well the views of the Caymanian people who he is employed by.
There is no way he could have made such an extreme act of misbehaviour and think he would remain in his job.
COULD NEVER!
So the Chief Justice’s time is up. THE CHIEF JUSTICE HAS TO GO!
The whole Caribbean is watching what we do, and we say it’s one, two, three strikes and the Chief Justice is out!
SIGN THE PETITION AND SHARE so that we can tell our elected representatives to tell the Governor that the Chief Justice has to go.
And if our politicians refuse to do what we instruct them to do, then we will replace them with someone who will do the job that we will tell them to do!
So somebody is leaving.
It’s either the Chief Justice who is leaving, or it’s either the politician who is leaving if the politician who WE, THE PEOPLE, hired to do what we say to do, disobeys what we are telling the politician to do on our behalf.
One thing is for sure though is that if the Premier and all others don’t tell the Governor to fire the Chief Justice, then we will elect someone who will tell the Governor to do so, and the politician would have then been fired for nothing because the Chief Justice will not remain in this job!
So one, or both, are leaving! For sure, the Chief Justice is leaving!
This is too serious for us, the people, to ignore this anymore and WE REFUSE TO LET GOD’S LAW BE SUBJECT TO MAN’S LAW OR THE CONSTITUTION, OR THE SOLICITOR GENERAL, OR THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OR ANY HUMAN.
Sign the petition to remove the Chief Justice for Cause namely MISBEHAVIOUR.
Sign the petition and share with everyone who supports this petition on behalf of Cayman, whether they are Caymanian or not since this is going to the Governor by recommendation through the Premier who will have a mandate from us, the people, to carry this recommendation to the Governor on the people’s behalf!
