This petition is to encourage the landlords of Foundry Court, student accommodation run by Homes for students to refund students 3rd rent instalment who are no longer living there or using the facilities (electricity, heating, water etc) which are included in the rent payment which is now being charged. After a lack of communication from Foundry Court throughout these unprecedented times an email was sent today to advise students that the 3rd instalment of rent is still expected to be paid, despite UCLan deciding all students living in there accommodation do not have to pay this rent as COVID19 has prevented them from living in the accommodation and carrying out studies as normal.
