It is so shamfel that despite such a panedemic taking place all over the world and so many people losing their jobs,  the UK government is treating its immigrant citizens as cash cows. Furloughs and other kinds of support systems are available for the UK nationals, whereas, the legal immigrants, who have 0 access to any funding and benefits are being overloaded with extra expenses. One such expense is the increases IHS fees.

The IHS fee for most applicants has increased from £400 a year to £624 a year, for students and for children it's now £470 a year.

So for a thirty month spouse extension applicant it's increased from £1,000 to £1,560.

Fee waivers are not available for all categories, and will depend on financial and personal circumstances, and for five year route spouse visas will generally result in being put on a ten year route.

One would have expected home office to halt this fee for now and maybe introduce it when things are a bit better for all . But no one really cares - as they would say “if you don’t like it , don’t come here “ . This fee is just more money at the expense of vulnerable immigrants

No one cares about anything that doesn't affect British citizens in this country. Plus the govt is constantly confused the citizen all the time about the money being paid into the system. You will be Suprise people don't know foreigners are paying through their nose to stay in this country.

This increases IHS fee should be scrapped with immediate effect.
