If you're anything like me, you've had past trips to Home Depot enhanced by the welcoming smells of the hot dog cart.  There was always something magical about shopping for your home improvement items knowing a tasty treat awaited you upon leaving.  For me, it was always the #1 combo - two hot dogs, a bag of chips, & a can of pop.  Many times my son & I went out of our way to go to Home Depot even though Lowe's was closer, simply because we could get hot dogs.

Fast forward to the world shutting down because of the COVID pandemic.  The hot dog carts were covered up & sat empty in the Home Depot lobby, awaiting the moment they'd be allowed to operate once again.  Inexplicably, though, upon dining restrictions being lifted, these beloved bastions of culinary cuisine remained shuttered.

Then news broke this week that Home Depot will not be reopening any hot dog carts in Michigan stores - a dagger through the hearts of so many like myself who saw these carts not only as tradition  during every trip to Home Depot, but also as one of the finest dining experiences to exist.  Please bring back the hot dog carts to Home Depot!!
