This pandemic of home burglaries and car thefts has to end. Just today a home in our neighborhood had a car stolen, few weeks ago a home was burglarized on the same street & i have had my home broken into 2 times over the years. I have had a truck stolen and a car stolen in the span of 5 years. I am sure based on the news and interactions with neighbors, family and friends this is a daily occurrence. This has to stop! The burglars and thieves don’t only take your worldly possessions (some replaceable and some not) but also steal your sense of security in your home or car. 
Its simple too easy and lucrative for them - the police don’t really actively pursue the thieves- the not so intelligent ones that get caught spend a night in jail & in morning are out on bail and at it again. This honestly has to stop!

We need to band together nationally and demand harsher penalties for home burglars and car thieves - minimum 5 years in jail & no parole. Let’s fill the jails with these scum - we can all pitch in through taxes that will be pennies on the dollar to put them where they belong. Small increase in tax to make it work but on plus side there will be more jobs to build these jails and employ locals to guard and house these burglars. 

I hope we can all band together to bring these harsher penalties so the thieves will think twice about breaking into homes and cars - enough is enough! Please share with family and friends and we will take this to all our MPs and MPPs and bring the change we all deserve.
