For 20 seasons Kobe Bryant electrified the city of Los Angeles like no other. Delivering Five NBA Championships, Two Olympic Gold Medals, an MVP award and countless other accomplishments Kobe entertained the world more times than anyone can imagine. So in the epicenter of the entertainment world, it is only right that we honor Kobe by immortalizing his legacy with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

Off the court, Kobe was a heavily involved member of the community and cherished his fans who adored him immensely not just in Los Angeles, but across the globe. Kobe coached his talented daughter Gianna and her teammates while also inspiring the next generation of athletes by opening the Mamba Sports Academy where he was very involved in the development of these kids.

One of the most tragic things about his sudden passing is that he was just getting started with a second act that was on track to be just as incredible as the first. Kobe was making his mark on Hollywood having founded Granity Studios and winning an Academy Award for his freshman film “DEAR BASKETBALL”. Kobe was well on his way to becoming a titan in the entertainment industry just as he was in sports. 

Kobe was first and foremost a loving son, husband, and father, but to myself and millions of others he was an idol, a hero, and an inspiration. Please join with me your support in honoring an icon. Kobe you gave us your heart, now we give your our all. Rest In Paradise Kobe & Gigi. Mamba Forever.
