I believe Val Kilmer’s portrayal of Doc Holliday in the movie Tombstone was his greatest performance. The fact that he was not even nominated for an Academy award, to me, was an insult to him. I just feel that he should have been recognized for his amazing performance in that role. And I would like for those with the power to do so, to acknowledge him and present him with an award. There are a lot of other great actors with great performances in the film, but I feel that Val Kilmer really made that movie for what it is. I have over 470 more characters I can use to explain why I’m starting this petition, but honestly, I don’t need them.
