The issue with this tree is that it is located in the dead center of the fairway on hole 5. The large pecan tree is the one being referred to. It’s height and it’s overall girth makes this hole almost impossible to play for the average person or even the advanced player. It makes it very difficult to hit an approach shot for the shorter length players and it makes it impossible to have a second shot into for an attempt at reaching the green in two for the longer players. I have been a member here for years and not only me but every single person that I have talked to that  plays here agrees that it’s a problem. I’m suggesting to remove this tree to make playing here more enjoyable and also knowing you can play without knowing there is an unfair obstruction. I would also recommend that after removal of this tree we could replant a few others down the side of the southern rough area to replace the removal of this one. I’ve addressed this several times and the only response I’ve got was to create a petition so here it is.
