The Issue

In Norfolk, a dog was heartlessly abandoned in a flat, left to suffer in conditions no living being should endure. The owner made it crystal clear that they no longer wanted the dog, a sentiment that should have triggered immediate intervention. I've gathered evidence of this cruel neglect. Despite multiple complaints lodged with the RSPCA by concerned citizens, the appalling conditions were ignored. The dog, covered in scars and scabs, was left to languish in its own waste.

After three agonizing months, the owner has now decided they want the dog back, and shockingly, the RSPCA has refused to intervene. This refusal not only allows the cycle of neglect to continue but also sets a dangerous precedent, suggesting that the welfare of animals may be secondary to bureaucratic procedures.

The Norfolk police have agreed they wouldn’t send the dog back, but they are powerless without the backing of the RSPCA. This situation highlights severe flaws in the system meant to protect vulnerable animals, and it is crucial that these entities are held responsible for their inaction.

This poor dog now has to go back to the owner as the RSPCA will not intervene  as the dog isn’t with them anymore but once the dog is back with them we can report it me “hope for the best”

The reviews online across the board for RSPCA are not only heartbreaking but generally concerning for animal welfare.

We call for a formal investigation into the RSPCA’s operations and urge a reform to ensure that animal welfare is a priority, and that similar situations in the future are handled with the urgency they deserve.

Join us in demanding justice for animals in distress by signing this petition. Animals in communities like Norfolk and beyond depend on your support. Help us make sure no more animals suffer due to systemic negligence.
