I am an animal lover and I am heartbroken by the horrific actions that have been uncovered at Miranda's Rescue in Humboldt County, California. Shannon Miranda, the founder of this so-called non-profit organization, has been entrusted with thousands of dollars from the public and numerous animal shelters across California for the care and protection of vulnerable animals. However, instead of providing a safe haven, he has betrayed this trust in the most appalling way.

Evidence has surfaced suggesting that thousands of dogs are unaccounted for, with gruesome findings on his property of mass graves containing the remains of countless dogs, including four-month-old puppies with gun shot wounds to their heads . These dogs were meant to be cared for, and were adoptable.  Shannon Miranda reportedly mismanaged funds and misled the public by issuing fake adoption pictures, telling people and shelters that their beloved dogs had found homes when, in truth, they had not.

Shannon Miranda has been operating under the guise of a "no-kill, non-profit rescue," yet testimonies from former employees who have bravely come forward reveal a dark history of cruelty and deception. These courageous people, employed by shannon 28 years ago came forward with details of the horrific duties of which they had been paid to unknowingly carry out and could not continue; it is  alleged that for 28 years, Miranda has been systematically killing dogs and disposing of their bodies in the surrounding areas, such as the Eel River; and on the property of the Rescue. just recently two very brave women proved he had been disposing of dogs in unregistered mass graves,  located on the rescues property after killing the animals with a firearm. He also admitted to authorities that he had to put down a couple horses recently, however there has been no further information released regarding how the bodies of these horses were disposed or the manner and reason for such actions. 

The scale and severity of these actions constitute gross animal cruelty and fraud demanding immediate justice. It is unfathomable that Shannon Miranda continues his operations without accountability. We must prevent further atrocities and ensure our donations and trust are not misused in such a devastating manner, and that every animals voice is heard. 

    We, the people across California, and further are requesting the attention and assistance of our Attorney General with the Dept of Justice "Rob Bonta" to personally help right this historic wrong and hold any bad actors accountable for the harm they have caused many Californians.  To seek accountability from those who may have abused their power and taken advantage of hard working people and shelters across California. To stand up and enforce animal rights, local city and state laws and to ensure that immunity is not granted for anyone. 

   We, the people are additionally requesting the attention and assistance of criminal investigator Chief of Internal Revenue Services;  "Jarod Koopman" to investigate the possibility of financial crimes; such as wire fraud , cyber crime , tax evasion, money laundering, cyber crimes or any other financial crime as appropriate. 

   We, the people request the attention and assistance of Head Director and leader in all federal investigations " Kash Patel" to provide any critical or missing components of the current investigation and to thoroughly review the accuracy of the current investigation. 

I urge you to join me in demanding a full and  thorough investigation into Miranda's Rescue and into Shannon Miranda's conduct and demand that he is held accountable.  It is critical that we shine a light on these horrific practices and hold those responsible accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Together, we can advocate for justice for these innocent animals and restore integrity to animal rescue operations.
