Hold Rudy Giuliani Accountable Despite Trump’s Pardon

Hold Rudy Giuliani Accountable Despite Trump’s Pardon
The Issue
On November 10, 2025, President Donald Trump issued pardons for several of his closest allies involved in the 2020 fake elector scheme. Among them was Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s disbarred former attorney and the public face of efforts to overturn the election through false claims, conspiracy theories, and fraudulent slates of electors.
Giuliani is not a victim of political prosecution. He is one of the central architects of a coordinated effort to subvert democracy, spread disinformation, and pressure state officials to ignore certified election results. In Georgia, he is one of 18 co-defendants indicted by a grand jury for trying to overturn that state’s lawful vote.
Trump’s federal pardon does not cover state crimes, nor does it erase the damage Giuliani has done to the public trust.
We are calling on Georgia’s Attorney General and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to:
- Continue all state-level prosecutions and investigations involving Rudy Giuliani
- Pursue all available civil penalties and disbarment actions in jurisdictions where Giuliani misused his legal license
- Reaffirm that no one is above the law, even with a presidential pardon
The pardon may protect Giuliani from some federal charges, but it does not make him innocent. He must still face accountability in the states where his actions caused direct harm to democratic institutions.
Letting this pardon go unchallenged would send the message that political power can erase consequences. Our democracy cannot afford that precedent.
Sign this petition if you believe Rudy Giuliani must be held accountable in every state where he tried to overturn the will of the voters.
