This petition arises from an alarming incident affecting our local community, involving Richard Knill, a teacher and wrestling coach at Turner Fenton Secondary School in Brampton. In June, Mr. Knill, 53, was charged by Peel Regional Police with one count of sexual exploitation. It was alleged that he had an inappropriate relationship with one of his students. But that's not all. Mr. Knill was re-arrested later in the same month after another student - a former student of Bramalea Secondary School, came forward with similar allegations dating back to 1997.

These accusations should not be taken lightly. These terrains are meant to be conduits of knowledge and character, not places where students fear for their safety.
