Hold Jax Ulbrich accountable for 2025 NFL Draft data privacy violations

Hold Jax Ulbrich Accountable: Demand Disciplinary Action for Misuse of Personal Data and Fraudulent Impersonation

Petition Target:
Berry College (Rome, GA) and the NCAA Football Organization

Petition Summary:
We call on Berry College and the NCAA to take immediate disciplinary action against student-athlete Jax Ulbrich for alleged violations of ethical conduct, including impersonation, identity theft, unauthorized access to corporate devices, and misuse of sensitive personal information—incidents that undermine privacy, sportsmanship, and digital integrity.

As students, alumni, fans, and digital citizens, we expect institutions like Berry College and the NCAA to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct — especially from those who represent their schools on and off the field.

Recently, serious allegations have emerged involving Berry College student Jax Ulbrich, son of Atlanta Falcons Defensive Coordinator Jeff Ulbrich. According to multiple reports, Jax Ulbrich accessed a private NFL corporate device (iPad), retrieved confidential phone numbers of NFL Draft prospects, and used one of those numbers to fraudulently impersonate New Orleans Saints GM Mickey Loomis in a call to high-profile quarterback Shedeur Sanders during the 2025 NFL Draft. This act was not a prank — it was a violation of trust, a misuse of personal data, and potentially criminal impersonation.

Why This Matters:
The phone call originated from Berry College campus housing, meaning campus resources may have been involved in the act of impersonation.
The unauthorized access of NFL corporate data occurred at a private residence but involved actions that violate Berry’s and the NCAA’s standards of conduct.
Shedeur Sanders is a Colorado resident — the unauthorized use of his data may violate the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), a law strictly enforced by the Colorado Attorney General and designed to protect residents’ personal information.
This was not a “youthful mistake”; this was a calculated action involving data misuse, impersonation, and deception in a high-stakes environment

What We Are Asking:
We respectfully call on:

Berry College:
To open a formal student conduct review into the on-campus and off campus actions of Jax Ulbrich under the 2024-2025 Student Code of Conduct (aka Viking Code) and Acceptable Use Policy.
To publicly reaffirm that impersonation, data misuse, and digital fraud are taken seriously, regardless of where they occur.

The NCAA:
To evaluate whether Mr. Ulbrich’s conduct violates NCAA student-athlete codes of conduct for his interference in the 2025 NFL Draft, with his theft of one or more collegiate athletes personal data from NFL Corporate issued devices via unauthorized access and use, and the identity theft, fraudulent impersonation of an NFL executive,  harassing communications, and potential caller id spoofing.

Futhermore, we request the NCAA to implement education and enforce accountability around digital responsibility and ethics in college athletics.

Why We Care:
This incident is a reminder that in a digital world, privacy is sacred, and our actions online have real-world consequences. College students — especially athletes with access to privileged spaces — must be held to higher standards when it comes to trust, respect, and accountability.

Berry College and the NCAA have a duty to ensure that their values are not just spoken but enforced.

Sign this petition to demand accountability and protect the integrity of college athletics, digital ethics, and student conduct — both on and off campus.
