Hold ICE accountable for constitutional violations

Hold ICE accountable for constitutional violations
The Issue
On November 20, 2025, like many, my husband was taken from me. ICE kidnapped him at his "interview," giving us only a 16-hour notice and presenting nothing but an unsigned non judicial warrant. He was held at the Otay Mesa Detention Facility, denied water for the first 19 hours, and injected with an unknown substance without his consent. These actions are not only inhumane but also blatantly unconstitutional.
My husband's story is not unique. Many others have faced the same unjust treatment at the hands of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The detention process is seen as a series of blatant violations of constitutional rights, which should not be tolerated in any form or under any circumstance. Already, ICE has illegally denied his bond twice, though he has ZERO criminal record federally checked, nor a flight risk. ICE Violates the 5th, and 14th Amendment by prolonging his unjust detention, and many others find themselves in the same situation.
The United States Constitution protects EVERY individual on it's soil from unlawful detention and cruel and unusual punishment. The Fourth Amendment ensures the right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures, and the Eighth Amendment protects against unfair treatment and abuse in the detention system. ICE’s blatant disregard for these rights cannot continue unchecked.
We demand action now. We call on government officials, lawmakers, and #humanrights organizations to hold ICE accountable for these violations and to ensure that justice is served for all detainees who have been wrongfully treated.
Together, we must demand transparency and accountability from ICE. We need independent investigations into their practices and policies, ensuring that no detainee is subjected to such dehumanizing and degrading treatment again. Reforms must be established to provide adequate oversight over detention facilities, guaranteeing that the rights of every individual are respected and upheld.
We urge everyone to fight for the rights that define our nation. Our diversity and commitment to human rights should be celebrated, not exploited. Let us come together to support those who have been silenced and make ICE authorities accountable for their actions.
Please sign this petition to stand in solidarity with Idris and countless other victims of these unlawful activities, and to push for immediate change to this broken system. Change begins with us. DIVIDED WE FALL!
Kidnapping with a deadly weapon recorded on video, no judicial warrant, 16 hour notice to appear, Otay Mesa (Rayburn) refused lawyer entry for 10:30 am appointment 11/21/2025, not given water for 19 hours, injection given without consent upon entry of Otay Mesa detention facility, had stroke symptoms (1 side of face paralyzed temporarily) with no medical check, sleeping on the floor for 18 nights without a pillow. Mental health is dangerous and volatile like most detainees, limbs feel like "jellyfish". Eating beans 5 days straight, eating frozen pasta 5 days straight. Can't remember what he ate for lunch, (loss of memory/ brain fog) worsening anxiety, constantly racing heartbeat) suspected anti-psycotic/ psychotropic meds given daily in cake (served almost every meal) body and hair products have a P-65 cancer and reproductive health warning (properly disposed of?) Irregular hair fallout, Irregular Erectile dysfunction. Starving conditions, if you get second plate of food you spend 15 days in solitary confinement. Conditions at the Otay Mesa Detention Center pose serious risks to people with disabilities. Access to mental health care. disabilitv-related accommodations and medical treatment are delayed and inadequate. Additionally, Otay Mesa maintains unnecessarily punitive conditions, placing many people, including those with disabilities, in isolation or solitary confinement. ICE and CoreCivic have failed to correct these longstanding violations of human and civil rights despite years of
reports, complaints and calls for reform. These failures make it clear that the current system of immigration detention is dangerous and constitutionally inadequate for
all people. While CoreCivic operates Otay Mesa in an inhumane, degrading, and deficient manner, the ultimate responsibility for the care of the people in its custody lies with ICE. EOIR office refused to identify herself and refused to accept documents inide the office, DHS Refused documents because EOIR wouldn't stamp (recorded on video). Breakfast daily 5am, lunch sometimes not for 10 hours until 3pm. Dinner at 7 or 8. Otay (Solis) Refused U.S. constitution and declaration of independence inside visitation and federal documents to be signed. His habeas corpus was granted 1/2/26 yet he has not been released he has another bond hearing 1/9/26 #theconstitutionisnotasuggestion
