I am writing to express my deep concern and personal connection to a matter that affects not only my family but potentially countless others. My wife has suffered immensely due to the failure of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to adhere to their own guidelines as detailed in Title 21 of the United States Code, Section 393. This lapse in responsibility allowed Bristol Myers-Squibb to conduct unethical experiments, with devastating consequences.

The drug Plavix (Clopidogrel), prescribed to my wife, led to life-threatening side effects that could have been avoided with a simple precaution — a cheek swab or blood test to assess whether her liver could safely process the drug. This negligence by HHS and the FDA in failing to mandate such safety measures has caused undue suffering and put lives at risk.

It is imperative for the HHS/FDA to uphold the highest standards of public health by enforcing strict compliance with their own codes and ensuring that pharmaceutical companies conduct themselves ethically. This can be achieved by reinstating stringent guidelines and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance, thereby prioritizing patient safety over corporate interests.

We demand that the HHS and FDA take immediate action to review their processes and enforce necessary safety precautions for drugs like Plavix. They must ensure that every patient’s safety is prioritized through mandated screening tests before prescribing potentially dangerous drugs.

Join me in urging the HHS/FDA to honor their commitment to public health and safety by signing this petition. Together, we can hold these agencies accountable and prevent further harm from occurring to innocent patients. The HHS/FDA was aware of the drug's life-threatening side effects when it issued a Black Box warning in March of 2010. We are certain that there are others who have been harmed, possibly died from the drug Plavix (Clopidogrel). When the pharmaceutical industry finds physicians willing to perform unethical experiments on unsuspecting, trusting patients, it gains tremendously.  The main benefit is that negative data is suppressed, which allows for inhumane experiments to continue with no history of the life-threatening side effects they have caused to patients. This is why there is limited data on those who have suffered the life-threatening side effects. This intentional act by HHS/FDA demonstrates that public safety is not its priority, but to aid Big Pharma as it has done in the past. This discovery raises more questions: what other drugs has the HHS/FDA deliberately not mandated known safety precautions for, and how many people have been harmed or lost their lives? We must keep in mind that Bristol Myers-Squibb's priority is profit, not the patient's health or well-being; their aim is to maintain their position on the stock exchange. I want to share this with you to give you a sense of how a human is treated during unethical, inhumane experiments.  "Berta was a female patient in the Psychiatric Hospital... In February 1948, Berta was injected in her left arm with syphilis. A month later, she developed scabies (an itchy skin infection caused by a mite). Several weeks later, Dr. Cutler noted that she also developed red bumps where he had injected her arm, lesions on her arms and legs, and her skin was beginning to waste away from her body. Berta was not treated for syphilis until three months after her injection. Soon after, on August 23, Dr. Cutler wrote that Berta appeared as if she were going to die, but he did not specify why. That same day, he put gonorrheal pus from another male subject into both of Berta's eyes, as well as in her urethra and rectum. He also re-infected her with syphilis. Several days later, Berta's eyes were filled with pus from the gonorrhea, and she was bleeding from her urethra. Three days later, on August 27, Berta died". This is the manner of treatment my wife received at the hands of doctors she trusted. This atrocious act committed  on Berta and other Guatemalans was backed by the HHS,  Bristol Myers-Squibb  and of course doctors willing to harm those they've deemed expendable for research and profit.  This is an urgent matter of public safety. We have many substantiating facts. We must let this agency with sovereign immunity know that its sovereignty is not above the Sovereignty of God, a God who sees all and knows all. There must be accountability
