Dear Supporters,

I wanted to provide an update on the ongoing issues with Balfour Beatty regarding the safety of our home and the health of my family. Despite the documented findings of a licensed mold assessor confirming that our home's ductwork is filled with mold, Balfour Beatty has chosen to ignore these results. They are refusing to replace the contaminated ducts, placing my family’s well-being at risk.

Through my own research on myfloridalicense.com, I have verified that several of the contractors involved in the remediation process are not licensed in the state of Florida. This includes:

The company that created the Scope of Work (SOW) for mold remediation, which is not licensed as a general contractor or mold assessor/remediator.
The company that claimed to have repaired the roof, is not licensed to perform roofing construction in Florida and is only registered as a painting company.
These findings are deeply concerning and reflect a pattern of negligence. Other families who have returned to their homes following Balfour Beatty’s so-called "remediation" are still experiencing mold issues, further eroding trust in their process.

To make matters worse, Balfour Beatty has informed us that we are expected to move back into the home by January 24th, even though the mold remediation has not been properly conducted. If the remediation is not done correctly, my family’s health and safety will be in serious jeopardy.

 I am also reaching out to elected officials to shed light on these unsafe living conditions and hold Balfour Beatty accountable.

This is not just about my family—it’s about ensuring that no military family has to endure such negligence and disregard for their safety. I need your continued support to bring attention to this issue and demand systemic change in military housing.
