Dear Residents,

The purpose of this petition is to take back our building and fight against poor management. We as tenants should never have to live in fear for our safety. Wavecrest/Hoe Avenue Assoc. failed to provide residents with functioning cameras in the halls and we do not have cameras in the staircases. Our quality of living has taken a drastic turn to the point where tenants are living in mold/rat infested apartments, cracked ceilings, paint chips, pipe issues, water damage, lack of up keep throughout the building. Unstable housing conditions can effect us mentally, physically and emotionally. In order for me to address the issues I am asking for the local tenant's help to remove Betzaida Lugo as property manager of our building. The building is not being sanitized, trash is being dumped on the side of the building. We have a high turnover with supers and handy man. Wavecrest failed to conduct proper background checks on felons. There are child molesters residing in our building not registered on the sex offender list. Betziada Lugo has her family working at multiple Wavecrest buildings. We ask that you look into these issues. The property manager refuse to let us organize tenant meetings in the community room to discuss our concerns. We have the right to organize peacefully. Our lease mentions that we are to have access to the community room, gym, computer room and the back yard. The ventilators do not work in both buildings which can pose a threat to those who suffer from asthma and other respiratory issues. We pay for these necessities. Sign this petition to remove Betzaida Lugo and replace her with a new manager and please bring back the former Super Richie Alvarez. The building need more qualified workers to help maintain the building. We want Betzaida Lugo fired from Wavecrest!

El propósito de esta petición es recuperar nuestro edificio y luchar contra la mala gestión. Nosotros, como inquilinos, nunca deberíamos tener que temer por nuestra seguridad. Wavecrest / Hoe Avenue Assoc. no proporcionamos a los residentes cámaras en funcionamiento en los pasillos y no tenemos cámaras en las escaleras. Nuestra calidad de vida ha dado un giro drástico hasta el punto de que los inquilinos viven en apartamentos infestados de moho / rata, techos agrietados, astillas de pintura, problemas con las tuberías, daños por agua, falta de mantenimiento en todo el edificio. Las condiciones de vivienda inestables pueden afectarnos mental, física y emocionalmente. Para poder abordar los problemas, solicito la ayuda del inquilino local para eliminar a Betzaida Lugo como gerente de propiedad de nuestro edificio. El edificio no se está desinfectando, se está tirando basura al costado del edificio. Tenemos una gran rotación con súper y hombre práctico. Wavecrest no realizó las verificaciones de antecedentes adecuadas de los delincuentes. Hay abusadores de menores que residen en nuestro edificio que no están registrados en la lista de delincuentes sexuales. Betziada Lugo tiene a su familia trabajando en varios edificios de Wavecrest. Le pedimos que analice estos problemas. El administrador de la propiedad se niega a permitirnos organizar reuniones de inquilinos en la sala de la comunidad para discutir nuestras inquietudes. Tenemos derecho a organizarnos pacíficamente. Nuestro contrato de arrendamiento menciona que debemos tener acceso a la sala comunitaria, el gimnasio, la sala de computadoras y el patio trasero. Los ventiladores no funcionan en ambos edificios, lo que puede representar una amenaza para quienes sufren de asma y otros problemas respiratorios. Pagamos por estas necesidades. Firma esta petición para eliminar a Betzaida Lugo y reemplazarla con un nuevo gerente y por favor trae de vuelta a la ex Súper Richie Álvarez. El edificio necesita trabajadores más calificados para ayudar a mantener el edificio. Queremos que despidan a Betzaida Lugo!
