Fluoride added to all UK water supplies to prevent dental decay

The biggest reason for operations on children in U.K. hospitals is dental decay.
Dental Decay can be prevented. The most effective measure is adding fluoride to the water supply. Public Health England, Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and the British Dental Association all recommend it. Water Companies will do it. Local Authorities must pay for it.
Some but not all Local Authorities do. In Sheffield 60 000 homes have it the rest do not. In Newcastle upon Tyne some homes do others do not. This post code lottery could be stopped if central government mandated and funded fluoride added to the water in all areas where it is lacking.
"As a dentist working in Sheffield for over 20 years the simplest and most cost effective way of reducing caries on a huge level is fluoride in the water"
Richard Pringle BDS
"It is a national disgrace that some children are losing half their teeth when there is a cost effective prevention not being used. The UK taxpayer is funding NHS treatment when they could be funding effective prevention."
