HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL released their lineup for the 2021 festival on March 15th 2021. The company known as select sound promised its buyers performances by musical artists Post Malone, $uicideboy$, DaBaby, Trippie Redd, Don Toliver, Flatbush Zombies, Jack Harlow, Ski Mask The Slump God, Lil Mosey, Joey Bada$$, Saint JHN and many more.” Tickets ranged in price from 200$ to $750 plus taxes for the two day festival. Exited fans traveled nationally (coast to coast) and internationally to see these artists preform at one of the most sought after lineups since Covid-19 shut our musical world down in 2020. Fast forward to august 6th 2021 (the first day of the festival) it is announced that $uicide boys (the headliners for Friday) were removed “due to Covid concerns” however it was stated in a quoted post from the $B that they knew of this for about a weeks time. Select sound / HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL failed to mention to its attendees that they would also be removing performances from artists DABABY, SKI MASK THE SLUMP GOD, LIL MOSEY & more openers the day of the festival, without EXPLANATION or a simple apology. Attendees spent hundreds to thousands of dollars in travel expenses for hotels, flights, transportation to and from the venue, tickets, meals and more. US fans are EXTREMELY disappointed in the poor planning and downright deception that select sound has tried to pass by its fans.
