This petition is for Bushiroad Inc. and New Japan Pro-Wrestling to reactivate the previous IWGP Heavyweight Championship and IWGP Intercontinental Championship after both Titles were unified and deactivated in March 4, 2021.

The 4th version of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, first used in February 22, 2008. Was one of the most prestigious Championships in Pro-Wrestling, and the symbol of the NJPW's golden age after the previous owner, Antonio Inoki almost ran the company into the ground in the early to mid-2000's.

The IWGP Intercontinental Championship had a rough start in May 15, 2011, but the Title's 4th Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura (who won it in Jul 22, 2012) opted for a redesign and he elevated the Intercontinental Title into NJPW's second most important Championship, behind the aforementioned Heavyweight Title.

In March 4, 2021, New Japan Pro-Wrestling unveiled the new IWGP World Heavyweight Championship a successor to the previous Heavyweight and Intercontinental Titles. To put it bluntly... it looks like shit and without hyperbole, it's the worst thing NJPW has done since prioritising MMA fighters who made for terrible pro-wrestlers in the early 2000's. 

If we can somehow get 15,000 people to sign this petition. Then maybe we can make enough noise to show Bushiroad and New Japan Pro-Wrestling that we want the older belts restored again!
