Everyone knows that leaving the O’Connor parking lot is an absolute nightmare. Everyday, student pedestrians are staggered throughout  trying to cross the street on hackamore. The Pedestrians have the right of way, causing a giant backup in the Senior lot. This causes students, teachers, parents, and drivers, some road rage that can affect the safety of others. Having a traffic director(s) in the parking lot to show who goes where in the 3 way stop, and a crossing guard to direct cars and cross student pedestrians, where they and the parking lot meet, would make the process of getting home ten times easier for students, teachers, parents, and drivers. Not to mention it would prevent the possibility of an accident happening on school property. Signing this petition would be a great solution to make this year breezy and safe.
