Dear Supporter Hillingdon Council has served an enforcement notice and if there is non compliance, prosecution could occur. I don't know what the conditions are or the timescale the company has been given for 'putting their house in order', so please continue to report any odour incidences to Hillingdon Council on 0800 6940240. Please make sure that you obtain a report number as Hillingdon Council are not forthcoming with this information. If you live in Ealing, you can report an occurrences on 020 88258111, so that the council can still continue to compile a dataset of complaints to be forwarded to Hillingdon. My request for a copy of the independent environmental consultant's report was denied and Hillingdon Council's reply was "we have considered your request under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR) and having considered the public interest, we are refusing your request pursuant to Regulation 12 (5) (b) EIR. This is because the council have served an enforcement notice in respect of this matter and it is possible that legal proceedings may be necessary and that disclosure of the report would adversely affect the course of justice of the ability of a person to receive a fair trial." It is important that the pressure is kept on the council, as an enforcement notice may not motivate FM Conway to make the changes, as I speculate that are contained within the independent environmental consultant's report, so please keep sharing the petition and asking Hillingdon Councillors for an update.
