A local freelance journalist has expressed an interest in writing an article to be published in either The Evening Standard or The Guardian, with particular focus on the health impact of the emissions from the FM Conway plant. I know many of you have told of your experiences in the comments section very powerfully, especially in relation to the health conditions that you attribute to the pollution. I now need volunteers, preferably with both Southall and the borough of Hillingdon addresses who would like to talk to the journalist. I experienced excessive tar fumes externally and internally within the organisation I work for in Southall yesterday and wonder what the impact is on the primary school children in 3 local schools. I can hear the children from two of the schools playing outside at break time and time will tell if there will be a rise in asthma cases reported locally.
