Don't let Hillary Victory Fund control superdelegate votes

The Issue

The Democratic Parties of 33 states joined with the Clinton campaign in August 2015 in a joint fundraising deal with the Hillary Victory Fund.  These state parties are now depending for their local campaigns on funding that must come through the Victory Fund - and decisions about how that money is allotted are under the direct control of the Clinton campaign's chief operating officer, Elizabeth Jones.

This means that superdelegates from those states - many of whom are Democratic elected officials or hold positions in their state party - have legitimate reason to fear that they personally or their state party could lose important funding if they don't vote for Clinton, even if the will of the voters in their state clearly supports Bernie Sanders.

There is a simple solution to this problem.  Hillary, in order to ensure fair process in the 2016 Democratic Primary, we need you to guarantee that funding to state parties through the Hillary Victory Fund will not be affected in any way by how superdelegates vote.  This should be incorporated into a written policy on how funds will be allocated and should be made public as soon as possible, in order to assure our superdelegates that they are free to vote according to the will of the people they represent.
