It has come to my attention that we are no longer having a powderpuff due to the school assuming the LGBTQ+ community has a issue with it. Which personally my friends who are LGBTQ+ love the idea of having a powderpuff and doing it. I’m starting this petition to see if we can get them to change their hearts and minds. Powderpuff has been a tradition for over 20 years, and I’d hate to stop it. Juniors and Seniors have been waiting since 9th grade when they learned about powderpuff to be able to do it. Let’s not let allow them stop the fun and traditions of our town. Let’s not let allow them take away another thing in this already difficult year. We lost homecoming, the parade, the bonfire, ect. Not only are they taking away a fun event, they are taking away a tradition. We are supposed to be a family. We are Brahmans. If there is anything this school thought me it’s to come together in these tuff times.
