For the hard work done by students all across Montgomery County in dual enrollment programs, we believe that they should gain the recognition and respect they deserve. We would like for this to be done by gifting them unique tassels and honor cords at their high school graduations, allowing them to feel accomplished and applauded for their work in furthering their education in strenuous circumstances. In addition, the disaster caused by the Covid-19 lockdown has caused students to be unable to enjoy the fruits of their labor, especially dual enrollment students under extreme stress from both college and high school classes. Therefore, awarding these awards would be a fantastic way to reward these students for their determination and perseverance throughout their high school and college careers.
