We, the Indians in the diaspora need to stand in solidarity with our brethren fighting on the streets of India against the attack on India's secular fabric. We can't join the struggle in person, but we CAN mobilize and make people in power take a stand. Our human rights are at stake and we need to make our voices be heard LOUD and CLEAR!

Sign this petition to convince the Indian Consulate General, and the High Commissioner of India to Canada to publicly condemn the ill-treatment of Indian students across the country and the Citizenship Amendment Bill of 2019. 

The Preamble to the Indian Constitution states India to be a sovereign, socialist, secular and democratic republic. The objectives stated by the Preamble are to secure justice, liberty, equality to all citizens and promote fraternity to maintain unity and integrity of the nation.
