More than 6 months since the shock announcement in October last year, Furlong Close remains slated for closure, with powerful interests still working towards “moving on” the residents and selling off the site.  The anxiety of this uncertain future continues to take a heavy toll on the innocent and vulnerable residents, which is inflicting real distress and mental harm.   With the Wiltshire Council elections now over, we have 48 new Councillors, a new Leader of the Council and a new Cabinet and we urgently need to press them to now engage with us to find a long term solution for Furlong Close and its vulnerable residents.  The support you have all given our petition has been wonderful, but if we can make one last push we can get it over 50,000 names and force the new Council to sit up and take notice.  PLEASE HELP US BY SENDING A LINK TO THE PETITION TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW SO WE CAN REACH THAT IMPORTANT GOAL.
