Herriman has great mountain bike trails that I and many others love, but it is missing a free, public bike park. Herriman needs a bike park, because even though it will be expensive, it has its benefits. 1: It will help more people have a more active lifestyle; people seem to get lazier every year and having a bike park makes it easier than a trail ride, because you can take breaks at the top, and it isn't very hard to climb up a couple hundred feet to get to the top. 2: There are economical benefits as well, because people from out of town will come to ride it. After they ride it, they will be hungry, and the closest eating options are in Herriman. They may even be low on gas, and can fill up here, and most likely buy something at that gas station. So it leaves a positive economical impact in the long run, because it creates more revenue from people that don't normally shop here in Herriman.

This can't just be some small simple bike park either, because no one will come back to ride it, or care to even come check it out in the first place. A better bike park will cost more, but will leave a better impact in the long run making it worth it.
