The problem with market day is the time its being introduced. We have upcoming exams and cycle test still in progress. Introducing this to us a week prior doesn't give our parents enough time to provide with the stall fees, product fees and even the deposit fee. It puts alot of pressure on our parents especially the ones who have been affected by the covid-19 regulations. During these tough times theres no need to endure more stress onto the learners aswell as the parents. Heronbridge College promises to do anything to help us gain the best education possible and by implementing this market day and moving forward with it, takes away time that could be spent on studying time for these cycle test in progress. Planning such functions takes up a massive load of time.This is why, us as a grade 9 class have signed this petition to cancel Market day.
