Hens are available for citizens to raise in every major metro city - except Moore.  

For 4 years in a row, citizens of Moore have asked their city council to allow us to raise a few hens in the backyard. Every year they have denied citizens the opportunity to choose whether or not they will raise these animals. 

The reason? City council has stated their personal preference is not to have chickens, they believe citizens aren't able to educate themselves, and have decided to represent the "silent majority" (not kidding - that was a quote from one of the council members, and all of these are from city council expressions on the matter.) 

There is an overwhelming majority on social media in support, and far fewer against this. A petition will show once and for all that despite the personal preference of city council members, the CITIZENS should be the ones swaying the vote - It should not be up to the whims of those in power.
