Hostel Buffalo-Niagara Needs Your Help.

Our beloved hostel is in danger.

The City of Buffalo is selling our home at 667 Main Street.  Commercial development would leave our nonprofit hostel without a home. We want to acquire and renovate the building ourselves to save the hostel.

The budget-oriented shared rooms, common areas, and communal facilities attract domestic and world travelers with the common need of affordable and accessible hospitality.  Hostel Buffalo Niagara has brought more than 100,000 visitors to downtown Buffalo.

 As an active partner in our local community, Hostel Buffalo Niagara immerses travelers in the diverse culture of our beautiful city.  Hostel Buffalo Niagara showcases local artists and performers in its gallery and also collaborates with civic and cultural organizations including Habitat for Humanity, The Buffalo Infringement Festival, Food Not Bombs, GObike Buffalo, Waste Not Want Not, Squeaky Wheel Film & Media Art Center, The Wash Project, and many others.
