The tennis courts at Aragon high school are currently in poor condition, with visible cracks and uneven surfaces that make them difficult and unsafe to use. These issues not only affect the quality of play but also increase the risk of injury for students who use the courts during physical education classes, team practices, competitive play and recreational time. In addition, members of the local community also use these courts, meaning the condition impacts a wider group beyond just students.

Students and community members deserve access to safe and well-maintained courts. Tennis is an important sport that promotes physical activity, teamwork, and skill development, but the current condition of the courts makes it challenging for both students and community members to fully participate and enjoy the game.

We respectfully ask the school administration to prioritize the repair and resurfacing of the tennis courts. We should be able to take pride in our school’s facilities, which reflect the values and standards of our community. Fixing the cracks and repaving the surface will create a safer environment and allow students and community members to proudly and safely use the courts to their full potential.
