Seeing homeless people being ignored and treated inhumanely empowers us to try and make a change. In Massachusetts, over 18,000 individuals experience homelessness each night (source: Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless). This crisis affects men, women, children, and veterans who are forced to live without basic necessities.

Our goal is to spread our petition and encourage our neighbors to volunteer for shelters, donate to housing organizations, or help in any other way you can. What we want to happen is we want to increase government funds and make more resources available for homeless people, like therapy, school, and housing. 

We need to raise awareness about this pressing issue and gather funds to support local shelters that provide essential services such as food, clothing, medical care, and job training.
