Please help save our Wetherspoon Pub.

JD Wetherspoon's Hart & Spool has been a beloved local establishment in Borehamwood for years, serving as a hub for community gatherings and events. Its potential closure threatens not only our town's social fabric but also its economy. The pub employs numerous local residents and contributes significantly to our local economy. Moreover, they provide over 900,000 jobs across the country, with many of these roles filled by young people seeking their first employment opportunities.

The closure of this pub would mean more than just losing a place to enjoy a pint; it would mean losing an integral part of Borehamwood's identity and community spirit.

This pub attracts Borehamwood FC supporters and away fans alike in a safe environment, as well as the key meeting point for Arsenal FC ladies team supporters before and after the games.

We started this petition to try and gain as much support as we can in order to try and come to a positive resolution with Wetherspoons as well as the building Landlord, but need a good following of support to enable this to happen.

Let us stand together against this proposed closure and fight for the preservation of our town's social heritage.
