The Issue

Mr. Darlington has been an invaluable resource and mentor to countless students at our school, guiding us through the complex process of college applications and helping us make informed decisions about our futures. As a student who is currently navigating this challenging period of my educational career, I cannot stress enough the importance of having Mr. Darlington as our college advisor. His dedication and commitment to his students are unmatched, and he has continuously gone above and beyond to ensure we are all well-prepared for the next step in our academic journeys.

Recently, it was brought to our attention that the district is considering moving Mr. Darlington to a different school. This would be a devastating loss for us. Mr. Darlington is not just an advisor; he is a trusted confidant who takes the time to understand the unique aspirations and challenges of each student. His support has made a significant impact on my life and the lives of many others, providing us with the confidence and tools necessary to succeed.

Statistics show that students who receive personalized guidance and support during their college application process are more likely to apply to, be accepted, and attend colleges that are a great fit for them. Mr. Darlington is the cornerstone of this support within our school. His experience, coupled with his genuine concern for our futures, makes him irreplaceable.

We understand that the district has logistical reasons for wanting to move personnel around, but we urge them to consider the incredible value Mr. Darlington brings to our community. His presence has led to a noticeable improvement in college acceptance rates and student satisfaction with college decisions over the years he has been with us.

Let's come together to show our appreciation and support for Mr. Darlington by asking the district to keep him at our school where he is truly needed. Please sign this petition to let the district know how much Mr. Darlington's continued presence means to us. Every signature counts and brings us closer to ensuring our community continues to benefit from Mr. Darlington's exceptional guidance.
