We have a carpentry class at Northwest Shoals Community College, and they’ve recently told us that they’re going to cancel our class in May 2026 to put a workforce class in. For me, carpentry is one of the funnest things i’ve ever done, and we need people in carpentry to build houses for the future. But with this new decision, that’s really in jeopardy at Northwest Shoals. I really enjoy carpentry, i think everyone should give it a try once in their life because it’s just addicting once you get started to it. That just shows how good it actually is. We’re asking for everyone’s help to save our class so we can pursue our dreams of being carpenters. So far we have built corn-hole boards, birdhouses, stairs, learned how to use hand tools, built sawhorses, and much much more. Everybody Please Help Us🙏🏻
