Thanks for signing the petition. It been a while since we’ve provided an update.  A lot has been happening on the efforts to professionalize the bicycle mechanic trade through standardized training and federal recognition of bike mechanics as a distinct occupation!

I’m pleased to be giving an online presentation of the state of the advocacy to Velo Canada Bikes’ network this Friday and you’re invited! 

The presentation will highlight the work being done to build national service capacity and formalize the profession of bicycle mechanics.
