UPDATE
Good morning fellow loyal supporters of Alex Selles Llorens.
To date we have raised a total of £87,841.21.
We have paid £68,446 to Alex’s Legal Team.
As of today, 19th June 2025, this leaves a total of £19,395.21 in Alex’s fighting fund.
There was a CASE MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE HELD on June 6th, where the Judge sat in front of both parties to ascertain the way forward to bring Alex’s case to Trial. This involved both parties stating their costs to date and the Judge setting various timelines leading up to the actual date of Trial.
THE JUDGE HAS SET DOWN ALEX’S CASE TO BE BROUGHT TO TRIAL ON THE FIRST AVAILABLE DATE AFTER 6TH SEPTEMBER 2026.
Yes you read correctly….the earliest date for this to go to trial is 6th September 2026.
This really is a David vs Goliath. Medivet have all their big guns out for Alex and show no signs of letting up.
ALEX NOW NEEDS US MORE THAN EVER.
Most of the preparations and groundwork by both sides has been compiled and now we must just wait for the Trial.
We must continue our efforts to bolster Alex’s fund to cover his Legal Fees in getting this heartless shower into Court and see their departure from Forest Row.
LET US SHOW THEM WE MEAN BUSINESS
As mentioned previously, we have had an estimation of an extra £95,000 and even more to see Alex get his day in Court.
In the meantime, our amazing group of ladies continue to arrange events to bring in much needed donations and words can’t describe our appreciation for what they do.
We need MORE supporters to donate.
Alex has been forced to get out and work because Medivet don’t pay him anything, yet expect him to sit at home.
He is now operating as a Mobile Vet to support his young family.
We will post an update on that later.
Looking to the future, when all this is over and Alex has won his case, a local businessman has visions of setting up an Animal Rescue Centre to support Wildlife in distress.
Alex will be BIGGER AND BETTER at the end of this, but he needs our help.
We should be privileged he is still amongst us and providing his usual unselfish dedication and care for our animals.
These Legal Proceedings against Medivet are going to drag on a bit and I have no doubt they are quite happy with that in the hope supporters lose interest and for Alex to run out of money to see these heartless scoundrels in Court.
WE ARE WHOLEHEARTEDLY COMMITTED TO ACHIEVING JUSTICE FOR ALEX
Once this case eventually goes to Trial, we shall be arranging busses to transport our supporters in their hundreds, if not thousands for a show of support on the day of the Trial.
