Oil spills affect the environment in so many different ways. The oil can poison sea animals and even land animals too. Oil is very harmful to animals and can cause them to get injured and possibly die. African Penguins were very close to going extinct due to an oil spill. Oil spills can also cause seafood to be very unsafe and harmful for people to consume. 

If we can help prevent the oil spills from happening, then we can keep all of our fish from getting injured. If we keep our ways right now then many animals will be harmed. We need to keep our oceans clean and prevent the oil from getting into the oceans. 

Now is the time to act. Many oil spills have occurred and many animals have been injured and killed during the spill. We do not want any more animals being hurt or killed by our ways of doing things so let's step up now and help our oceans and animals.
