Help Tioga County Cat Project Save Animals in Tioga County PA
The Issue
Tioga County Cat Project was founded in 2020 with the sole purpose of spaying and neutering stray cats, and we have so far spayed and neutered a whopping 2,000 cats in Tioga County. Beyond that, however, it has grown into an organization doing everything possible to help the area's people and animals as our county's resources dwindle. Cats the county humane officer takes in come to our clinics to be altered and prepared for placement - even a ferret came into one of our clinics! From trapping and fixing stray cats to stop breeding and decrease the population, taking in sick, abused, and homeless cats and dogs, offering low cost vaccines and microchipping, adopting out cats and dogs in need of loving homes, helping people in need with pet food and preventative care, even helping with transport...our work in this disadvantaged county is never-ending because there is so little help here.
We all know how badly these resources are needed in our area. TCCP will be humbly seeking funding from the Tioga County Commissioners in order to continue all this vital work at the rate necessary. By signing below, you express your support of the county funding TCCP's work to continue to help more people and dogs, cats, and other animals in our community.

Our mobile spay/neuter clinics also vaccinate every cat who comes through. Flea treatment, deworming, antibiotics, ear treatments, even dental surgeries are performed as needed.

Sitting Bull was found having been shot by some cruel human, despite being one of the most loving cats ever. Despite our best efforts, he lost his life to the resulting infection.

Reya Sunshine (lighter) came from a bad situation as a puppy, and we found her an amazing adoptive home in Indiana with a sister she loves SO much!

Ruby lived her whole life chained on a dirt patch. At 14 years of age, she was riddled with cancer, so we convinced her owners to let us take her so she could live her final months in luxury. Ruby was VERY spoiled for the rest of her life.

Peekaboo was found in a ditch along the road with a ruptured eye infested with maggots, a severe upper respiratory infection, and a fractured jaw. She spent a long time at the vet and is now in a loving home.
