International corporations: Allow Russian workers time to protest the war with Ukraine
Why this petition matters

Did you know that a lot of the people keeping your tech going are located in Russia? While the world calls on Russian citizens to protest their autocrat's war in Ukraine, the multinational corporations that are paying lip service to opposing Russian aggression are simultaneously refusing to give their Russians workers the leeway they need to join in protests. There are no provisions made for inevitable detention, and no acknowledgement of their workers' needs in the current emergency. Many protestors have already been fired by foreign employers.
As Bernie Sanders, Senator from Vermont, has said "Participating in an anti-war march in an authoritarian country is no small thing. It requires enormous courage. These very brave people deserve our respect and gratitude."(1) There are thousands and thousands of people in the streets right now, and it will take hundreds of thousands more to bring any change. Give them the help they need.
We call on the companies listed below to support their workers as they seek to end an unjust and deadly war.
