Help Take Down Community Hospital of Huntington Park

Help Take Down Community Hospital of Huntington Park
The Issue
On December 10, 2021,
I decided to take my mother to the Community Hospital of Huntington Park since she was very sick. My mother told me to take her to this hospital since this is the hospital where many low income/immigrant people go to receive medical attention. She was afraid to go to another hospital due to not having legal documents. My mother was in this hospital for 4 days until they took her life away. She never suffered from any illness and when my we got there they started saying she had an “unknown infection” and they suggested to give her some medication, in which my family and I saw nothing wrong with. A couple of hours later I received a call saying that my mother got intubated forcefully since she “couldn’t breathe on her own”, I was even told that she was fully conscious following them around with her eyes and even rejecting the tube. I never got allowed to go inside to be with my mother until they sedated her and she never woke up again. My mother was a healthy woman, and they took her life heartlessly. I had to endure the pain of not being able to talk to my mom, while the doctors/nurses around me were being so rude and cold towards what was happening to her. The nurse that would “take care” of her in those four days did absolutely nothing to make me feel better about my mom’s condition. I asked if my mother was getting better and she would plainly answer saying “I don’t know, but she’s not getting any better” in a horrible tone. I called her every night to check on my mom to see if she was okay, or if she was getting better. On the last night my mom was on this earth, I called the nurse 4 times and she never answered. I was constantly put on hold for the longest time. Until then she called me to notify me that my mother was gone. They left my mother covered up like a dead dog you find in the street. My family was not comforted or even informed about what had happened. Seconds later we were getting told to write her transfer papers. What kind of service is this? I am not the first person that has gone through this in my community. There are many people in this area that seek for medical aid and they end up going to this “trustworthy” hospital to just get killed. This does not sit right with me. This hospital has been doing this for years. If they are not helping low income people then why is this building still standing. I’m coming to you all with this petition to help me take down this hospital. They are nothing but bad news. I know tons of people around me that have so much to say about this hospital. Please help me get rid of this hospital. I can’t take another loss.
