We demand immediate support for childcare.

The childcare crisis in Northern Ireland has been growing in recent years with many parents being forced to make choices between their careers and caring for their children.

We are calling for the urgent development and publication of the Early Learning and Childcare Strategy and the implementation of affordable, accessible, child-centred childcare to reduce costs for parents and support the sustainability of the sector. This would greatly help parents throughout Northern Ireland including in Fermanagh and South Tyrone. 

This petition is an initiative by The Impartial Reporter newspaper as part of a major investigation into childcare costs.
