We, the undersigned residents of Mobile, Alabama, are DONE watching our animals vanish while the agency paid to protect them hands out “warnings” and covers up the aftermath. What we demand:
1.  Mandatory seizure of abused/neglected animals on FIRST offense—no more “warnings” that end in disappearances. 2.  Independent oversight of every Animal Control call, photo, and outcome—full transparency, zero cover-ups. 3.  Mandatory body-cams or written reports released to the public within 24 hours. 4.  Felony charges for animal fighting, abandonment, and extreme neglect—no more slap-on-the-wrist fines. 5.  Animal abuser Database- Every abuser get out in the database and when they try and adopt their name gets flagged 6. Low Cost Spay and Neuter clinic to help with the alarming amount of dumped cats and dogs in the community . Why now:
In the past month alone, dogs reported for starvation and chains heavier than their bodies received only warnings—then vanished the next day. Mobile’s current policy is a death sentence for the innocent and a free pass for abusers. We speak for the dogs who never made it out of chains, the cats left to starve, and every animal still waiting for someone to care. Pass The Milagro and Phoenix Animal Protection Act
