We, the passionate community of Dead by Daylight are petitioning to keep and maintain a valued member of the community. Someone who has been arguably more impactful and inspiring to the history of Dead by Daylight than any other. Someone who is being wrongfully punished for the deeds of others and targeted without sense or reason. I am, of course, talking about our dear beloved Leatherface, AKA, Bubba. 

As of the May 19th anniversary and chapter release stream, it was made common knowledge that Behavior Interactive is working to implement a new "feature" into the game to combat the gameplay style known as "face camping". This has been a problem plaguing the community for many years, as various players in the role of "killer" will stand in front of a "survivor" and not allow said survivor off the hook while starting them down with a blank expression. This act of "face camping" is generally looked down upon in the community, with one exception, our misunderstood Bubba. While this new feature, currently being developed by Behavior Interactive, will stop the likes of Wesker, Nemesis, Wraith, Skull Merchant and others from performing this disliked and disagreed upon play during games, this will also remove the ability from our beautiful Bubba. 

Face camping Bubba has been around since September 14th, 2017, for PARAGRAPH II: LEATHERFACE™. Since this time the community has grown fond of our cute and adorable Bubba, whose cries of tantrums grow louder with each bumping into objects in the Entities realm, and shrieks of glee when mori'ing those cruel mean survivors. As bubba continued to grow in the community, it was clear that Bubba only wanted to have friends. He is one of the loneliest killer characters in Dead by Daylight and is only looking for friendship. While this form of friendship is different than most, we are accustomed to, by hooking survivors on giant meat hooks in a dark basement while staring into their eyes for extended periods of time, it is a friendship we all have experienced and appreciated when encountering a Bubba in the wild. While other may try to intrude on this friendship by removing others from the previously mentioned meat hooks, rudely interrupting the moment Bubba wanted to share with his new friend, Bubba has endured all kinds of social out casting and ridicule. Being referred to as "Toxic" and "Boring" along with a host of other cruel and demeaning insults via an end game chat. He is simply misunderstood and has no voice to stand up for himself. And now, due to the actions of other killers, this friendship, this love that we have all come to accept in our heart is being threatened by Behavior Interactive. 

By signing this petition, we are choosing to voice our disagreement to the removal of face camping Bubba, as a direct attack on our longtime friend. His impact to the community has been massive and has his own mini culture within the community and that now is being threatened. The time to speak our voice is now! This petition is not for those other "toxic" killers who attempt to imitate our beloved Bubba, remove the ability for face camping from them, however, LEAVE BUBBA ALONE! Behavior Interactive, implement your change, however, LEAVE OUR BUBBA ALONE! DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO TAKE AWAY THE FRIENDSHIP, LOVE, AND DEVOTION OUR BUBBA HAS TO OFFER! Taking this action will inherently take away what we love about Dead By Daylight and rip out a huge chunk from the player bases heart and soul! Behavior must be told Bubba is love!!!
