Help save the kids-less gun violates

Help save the kids-less gun violates
The Issue
Please help me start to get approvable of a mandatory 5-year psych evaluations and class on gun violence that I will be submitting to the Colorado Secretary of State.
If the approvable happens I truly believe that we can decrease gun violates and stop worrying about if our loved ones will die by a gun every day.
I know you all know what it's like to fear for someone you care about and have heard all about how bad gun violations is from the news. You could also read sources like McLeigh (2015) and Choron (2019) or any other sources. But to be honest, I know you fear for their safety, their well-being, you want to keep them safe, you want to make sure no harm comes to them, you want to protect them with everything you have. It could be your mom, father, son, daughter, sister, brother, a friend, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, your teacher, preacher, or neighbor. It could be anyone you care about. But do you know what it is like being a 4th grader, not even being in double digits yet, and the first thing you asked your teacher is what would we do in case of a lock down because you feared for your own life and the life of you classmates. Asking that question to almost every teacher and substitute you have ever had. Always almost the first thing to leave your mouth. Fearing that one day while you are at school, work, while you are at home, or just out and about that you will never see the people you care about again or getting the call that they were killed because of one piece of shit who got mad and decided to kill people because they wanted to take their anger out on something and just so happened to have a gun. Fearing every noise, every weird sound, everyone. Being paranoid about everything because I do. I have been asking almost all my teachers and substitutes where would we hide in case of a lock down since 4th grade. Fearing that I will never see my family and friends again. Being paranoid enough to question every noise, every weird sound, everyone. Fearing that my little sister, who I would sacrifice the world for, will be shot and killed. Not be able to be my maid of horror. Not be able to see her in her prom dress and/or wedding dress. Being her maid of honor. My brother not being there when I have a panic attack or need help and not seeing me get married. Not being able to see his wedding. My father not being able to walk me down the aisle and give me away on my wedding day. My mother who has done so much for me not be able to see me get married and being a bridesmaid. My friends not being there for my wedding day, being bridesmaids and grooms. Not being able to see their weddings. NOT BEING ABLE TO MARRY THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, have kids, grow old together. So please if it isn’t for me, let it be for the people you care about. Help me try and stop this fear. Help me decrease gun violence enough so where we don’t have to fear for our safety and the safety of the people we care about. Please.
