The Issue

Every year, students at our high school eagerly anticipate the 24-hour musical, an event that has become a beloved tradition, bringing together students, teachers, and the community for a unique, immersive theatrical experience. It not only provides a platform for students to showcase their talents, but it also fosters teamwork, creativity, and resilience. Additionally, all proceeds from the event are donated to local charities, making it a significant contributor to our community's well-being.

Unfortunately, this year's musical has been cut from the school's activities for unknown reasons. This decision has left us heartbroken! For many students, participating in the 24-hour musical is a highlight of their high school journey, a chance to step outside their comfort zones and grow as individuals. It's not just a performance; it's a rite of passage that many of us have looked forward to since freshman year.

The loss of this tradition not only affects the students and faculty involved but also the charitable organizations that rely on the funds raised to continue their essential services. In past years, we have managed to raise significant amounts for causes like the Alzheimer's Association, The Trevor Project, and hopefully many more!

We believe that with your help, our 24-hour musical can be saved. By coming together as a community, we can continue supporting our local charities and offering fun productions for our students!

Please sign this petition to urge our school administration to reconsider their decision and to show your support for our 24-hour musical. Let's work together to preserve this important event and maintain its positive impact on both students and our community. Your signature can make a difference!
